Soundcore is an Anker spin-off that aims to "spark emotions through music" with its focus on audio accessories. It has just released 2 products at once that are touted as ideal for even long-haul travel with up to 50 hours of play-time per charge. They are also both rated for Hi-Res Wireless Sound and AANC that can apparently block up to 98% of normally-distracting noise out during their use.
However, the 2 new Soundcore Space-series peripherals are of a different form-factor apiece. The Q45s are wireless headphones with the option to also use an AUX cable and "double-layer diaphragm" drivers that count silk, metal and ceramic among their build materials.
They are rated for the LDAC codec and also have a new ear-cup design that contribute to their potentially advantageous noise-cancelling specs. On that note, their "industry-leading" battery life applies when that mode is on, and they are estimated to keep going for up to 65 hours with AANC off.
The A40s are wireless earbuds with 10mm drivers (also metal-ceramic) that owe their equally lengthy estimated maximum play-time to their charging case. They have a "compact and lightweight" popcorn shape rated to support prolonged wear with silicone ear-tips in a range of sizes.
They support the Bluetooth 5.2 standard, whereas the Q45s are 5.3, although both are rated for multi-device simultaneous pairing. Both new Soundcore accessories rock USB type-C ports, although the A40s' case can also charge wirelessly.
The Space Q45s and A40s have both launched in black colorways, although the A40s also have white or blue options in some markets. They have started for US$149.99 and US$99.99 respectively on Amazon.com, and are also available on other platforms such as Amazon.de for €149.99/€99.99, Best Buy Canada for CA$129.99.
