Among the many options that Xiaomi offers us in its MIUI 13 customization layer, there are some of them related to audio, both of which we can reproduce with our device’s own speakers, and the one reproduced by the different headphones that we connect to it.

These adjustments are aimed at improving our overall listening experience, but in this case we are going to focus on being able to improve the audio quality that our headphones reproduceeither through cable or bluetooth with a configuration that MIUI offers us to be able to calibrate the sound completely to our liking.

The first thing we are going to teach you is how you can equalize the sound of any headset that you connect to your Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO phone easily from the MIUI settings. To do this, we will have to carry out the following steps:

Open your phone settings Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO

Access the “Sound and vibration” settings

Once inside, go down and click on “Sound effects”

Select the “Equalizer” option when you have your wired or bluetooth headphones connected to your phone

Once inside the option, we can configure the sound or depending on the different types of music Xiaomi offers us such as rock, pop, etc., or manually alter the sound response in the frequency range of between 65 Hz to 14 KHz.

With this, we can have a significant change (always depending on the type of headset that we connect) in the frequency response of the content that we reproduce, something quite useful for being able to customize the sound to our personal taste.

On the other hand, we are going to show you a small adjustment that MIUI offers to our Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO device from which we are going to be able to optimize audio performance based on certain presets by Xiaomi itself. Specifically, they are different effects thanks to which the sound will adapt depending on the type of headset that we are using or the content that we are consuming, be it music, videos, etc. In order to configure these effects we must do the following:
